Baxter & Woodman Appoints Chief Operating Officer (September 2011. Crystal Lake, IL)

Baxter & Woodman, Inc. Consulting Engineers is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Louis D. Haussmann, PE, PTOE as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Haussmann joined the firm in 1997 after earning his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, and is certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Haussmann lead the firm’s Transportation Group focusing on municipal, county, state and federal agency design and construction projects.  Mr. Haussmann was elected to the firm’s Board of Directors in 2009.
